Improvement in Austistic Behaviors Following Chiropractic Care – A Case Series

Special Needs Children Helped with Chiropractic

 

On June 16, 2016, the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health published a case series documenting the positive effects of chiropractic care for eight special needs children. The study authors report that the number of special needs children is continuing to rise at an alarming rate. “More children each year are being diagnosed with neurodevelopmental challenges ranging from Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder.” … Read the rest!

Infant Diagnosed with Failure to Thrive Helped with Chiropractic

 

The December 17, 2015, issue of the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health published a study documenting the case of an infant who was medically diagnosed with failure to thrive being helped with chiropractic.

The authors of the study describe failure to thrive (FTT) as infants who cannot maintain growth or have inadequate growth. The condition is fairly common affecting approximately 3-10% of children attending care in a hospital setting and 5-10% of children attended to in a primary care setting.… Read the rest!

Daily Headaches Gone Under Chiropractic Care

 

tile_boy-jumpingFrom the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health comes a study published on May 25, 2015, documenting the case of a young boy with daily headaches being helped by chiropractic. The study begins by noting that between 10-20% of school age children suffer with headaches. This number increases to 27-32% at the age of 13-14 years for a headache within a given month.

The authors report that chronic daily headaches affect 2-4%  of adolescent females and 0.8-2% of adolescent males.… Read the rest!
