THE ZENITH THOMPSON PNEUMATIC TERMINAL POINT DROP TABLE
Technological advances in adjusting table design allows for extremely effective correction of spinal misalignments called vertebral subluxations. This is done without the need for high torque rotational techniques such as side posture adjustments.
The use of the Zenith Thompson Pneumatic Terminal Point Drop Table enables Dr. DeCosta to provide an alternative to forceful or leverage-type adjusting techniques. With minimal force and discomfort for the patient, these adjustments are given utilizing the principles of Newtonian Physics incorporated into the drop mechanisms of the table.
With a low-force, high-velocity adjustment, Dr. DeCosta need only apply a light thrust, setting the drop mechanism free and passing momentum to the patient. A small applied force speedily releases vertebral subluxations at the “terminal point”, defined as the termination of the drop’s motion.
The terminal point drop device can be used to reduce or eliminate the force needed for an adjustment, due to the drop’s tremendous mechanical advantage. When the drop releases, the low force adjustment exerts a minimum of pressure on the spinal joints, and thus there is less discomfort for the patient.
